When I began this blog, I wasn’t quite sure what my intentions were, other than a place where I could announce upcoming publications of my work, and share author-friends’ milestones. And that is pretty much what has happened here over the past year.
I don’t write here on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis because being published seems to come in spurts or floods. And then, there are dry spells.
Recently, I felt that my endeavor with dark, creepy story-writing is coming to a close – at least with my recent publisher, and I am happy for that. I want the freedom to express myself in my own, unique way.
While my Muse is now free to choose our next adventure, I have been exercising my poetic muscle. Spillwords has published another of my poems, “Out of Love”. You can read and vote here: Out of Love, all votes are deeply appreciated!
My plans for this next week/month are to write and re-write at least four stories and submit to different publishers, write more poetry, and find time to read.
