Lancelot Left Home

Have you noticed how much I love Spillwords Press? Well, I do!

And, today, my poem, “Lancelot Left Home” is published on their site. It is a poem I wrote over thirty years ago when our dog, Lancelot, left home, never to return. I wrote the poem through tears and sobs.

All these years later, through this poem, a smile lights up my face as I remember Lance’s quirkiness, his kisses and hugs.
